The best way to answer any questions that you might have regarding your personal injury case or insurance situation is to speak with me. I’ve also provided some answers here to commonly asked questions that you may find helpful.
Why should I hire a personal injury attorney?
If you’ve been seriously injured through little or no fault of your own, you’re going to need to file a claim with one or more insurance companies. Unfortunately, it’s no easy feat to keep these insurance companies acting in good faith when a claim is pending. The claims adjustors that work for them have a lot of tricks up their sleeves when it comes to finding ways to deny claims and keep victims from getting the payouts they deserve. That’s where I come in. I have always gotten my clients a better deal, after attorney fees, then they were offered by the insurance companies on their own.
Ok, but how do I know if I have a case?
The only way to be sure if you have a case is to talk to an experienced personal injury lawyer (like yours truly) right away. The bottom line is that if another person or party’s carelessness or recklessness contributed to causing your injuries in any way, you probably have a case. Let’s make a deal: if you were hurt in an accident involving a vehicle, a defective product, a broken sidewalk, or just about any other scenario under the sun, pick up the phone and call me. Let me worry about whether or not you’ve got a case. If you do, we’ll figure out who’s responsible and get started on holding them accountable.
Should I accept the settlement I am being offered by the insurance company?
In the overwhelming majority of cases you should not accept the insurance company’s offer if you are not represented by a personal injury attorney. Insurance companies almost never offer an unrepresented injured person a reasonable offer. I have always gotten my client’s more money in their pocket, after attorney fees, than they would have gotten from the insurance companies on their own. Bottom line; you shouldn’t do anything until you talk to me. I know what’s fair and what’s not fair when it comes to settlement offers. That’s my job. If you are being offered a decent settlement, I’ll let you know and we can part ways as friends. If not, you can hire me as your personal injury lawyer. If I can’t help you get a fair settlement, the next stop is Litigation. I’ll happily take your case to trial for you in order to get you the compensation you deserve.
What kind of personal injury cases do you handle?
Car wrecks, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, slip and fall incidents also known as premises liability cases, nursing home cases, medical malpractice suits, injuries caused by defective or malfunctioning products and bad faith claims against insurance companies. The bottom line is that if you got hurt and you weren’t 100% responsible, we’ll get you the compensation you deserve.
How much does it cost to hire a personal injury lawyer?
You don’t owe me a cent in attorney fees unless I win the good fight on your behalf. If we’re successful, I get 33% to 40% of the compensation you receive depending on the type of case and whether or not it goes to trial.
What kind of compensation can I receive as a result of a personal injury settlement or litigation?
There are a few different kinds of compensation you can receive as result of a successful suit. Economic damages are one kind. This is money that goes toward expenses associated with your accident: property damage, medical bills, lost wages, and so on. Then you’ve got non-economic damages. This is compensation for those things like pain and suffering that don’t come with a bill. All that compensation adds up. I’ll go after every person or party I can find who contributed to your injuries until you receive fair compensation or we’ve gotten you the maximum amount of money you’re allowed to get under Washington Law. That’s my promise to you as your personal injury attorney. Schedule a consultation with me today to get the ball rolling. I’m ready to do this if you are.
