Being involved in a car accident is a terrifying experience for everyone. Over six million car accidents occur every year, and luckily most of them only end with property damage. However, some might sustain minor and major injuries, or even fatalities. Stay at the Scene
The first thing you should do is stay at the scene. No matter how minor an accident might seem, never leave. If you can, find a safe spot to move to, or stay in your car if this is not an option. If you have access to flares or can turn your hazard lights on, do this to alert others of the hazard in front of them.
Notify the Police
